Step 1 — Choose Your Cadence

Use the Daily / Weekly toggle to select your contract duration. Daily contracts settle at 12:00 GMT. Weekly contracts settle at 12:00 GMT on Fridays. The interface shows which cadence is active with a color indicator (blue for Daily, amber for Weekly).

Step 2 — Select an Expiry Date

The expiry selector shows three periods: previous (settled), current (active), and next (upcoming). Click the current active period to trade it. Clicking the settled period shows the historical result in read-only mode.

Step 3 — Read the Options Chain

Chain ColumnWhat It Shows
CALL odds + volumeImplied probability and open CALL volume at this strike
Buy CALL buttonClick to populate the order ticket for a CALL at this strike
StrikeThe price level, ATM label, and spread info
Buy PUT buttonClick to populate the order ticket for a PUT at this strike
PUT odds + volumeImplied probability and open PUT volume at this strike

Step 4 — Fill the Order Ticket

  1. After clicking a Buy CALL or Buy PUT button, the right-side ticket populates with the contract details.
  2. Confirm your direction with the CALL / PUT selector at the top of the ticket.
  3. Enter your CC stake. Use the quick-select percentage buttons (25%, 50%, 75%, 100% of wallet balance) for convenience.
  4. The Payout Breakdown shows: your stake, current odds, and exact max payout in CC — all before you commit.
  5. The visual loss/win bar gives an at-a-glance summary of the risk/reward.

Step 5 — Confirm the Trade

Click Buy Call or Buy Put. A 3-second countdown starts — you can cancel within this window. After the countdown, the transaction is submitted to Canton. A receipt appears with your contract ID, direction, stake, payout odds, and Canton transaction hash.

🔴 Transaction Rejected
If the Canton node rejects the transaction, you'll see: "Your CC was not spent. The transaction was rejected by the Canton node. Please try again." Your CC is never deducted on a failed transaction.
